Join your neighbors in this annual holiday tradition from Mexico.
Las Posadas are a beautiful annual cultural tradition from Mexico celebrating the spirit of the Christmas season. The nightly processions are a ritual re-enactment of Mary and Joseph’s search for a lodging in Bethlehem. As the number of refugees increases every day, the tradition of Las Posadas reminds us of the many families around the globe asking for a place to survive and raise their children.

Sanctuary Santa Cruz is honored to have been invited to host the Posada Celebration on December 23. We are asking for donations to offset the costs for food, event insurance and other expenses. This will help us to broaden our outreach and continue to raise funds for our benevolent fund to aid families affected by deportations.
