We are calling on all trained volunteers to register and attend one or all of the upcoming Family Preparedness Workshops.
We need volunteers to assist families in filling out the Childcare Safety Plan.
Families who are at risk of their loved ones being detained by ICE agents preying on our communities need to have a clear written plan for the care of children if something bad were to happen to their parents or caregivers. We invite any parent in this position to attend our workshops to learn how to make a Childcare Safety Plan. We will have legal experts and trained volunteers on hand to help explain the various child custody options, and help fill out this important document. Family Preparedness Workshops are free of charge and open to all.
Not a trained Family Preparedness volunteer, but want to become one?
